I am a learning consultant, working for PebblePad Ltd. My role is to support the implementation and ongoing support of the personal learning and assessment tool, PebblePad, across a large number of UK Universities. I previously worked in higher education as an Educational Technology Manager at the University of Birmingham Medical School. My interests in learning technology are many, having sought to review, embed and evaluate many flavour of the month and long-standing tech solution over the past 15 years. I even had a research career in the long distant past, covering catchment-scale hydraulic and sediment transport processes.
Aside from my professional role, I am a husband and father of two lovely children, a member of the ALT Membership and Development Operational Committee, a school governor at a secondary school, an untalented tenor in the CBSO community choir, and an active, though again untalented, laser sailor at my local sailing club.
The views expressed in this blog are very much my own, and don’t represent that of PebblePad Ltd or any other organisation.
